THE JCB ACADEMY
The event will be an excellent opportunity to look around the Academy, meet our teaching and leadership team and chat to some of our current students to hear their perspective.
Additionally, our world-class engineering partners will be here on the day to demonstrate how they are involved with the curriculum delivery at The JCB Academy, including Rolls-Royce, Toyota, Bentley Motors, Network Rail - to name but a few!
The Principal will be running a presentation for parents and students, repeated throughout the day. The Principal’s presentation will provide an overview of the Academy (the typical student day, our exciting extension activity programme, the curriculum, our teaching structure, uniform etc.) as well as information about admissions and how to apply.
We also have a team of Parent Ambassadors (parents of current students studying at The JCB Academy) who will be on hand to provide advice and guidance from the ‘parent perspective’.
IMPORTANT - Parking
There will be a shuttle bus in operation on the day. Please ensure that you park at JCB World Headquarters and not at The JCB Academy. (JCB World HQ postcode for Sat Nav - ST14 5JP)

When & Where
The JCB Academy
The JCB Academy is an exciting school for students from the age of 14 including a sixth form for post-16 students who are interested in business and engineering. Our unique curriculum and learning techniques combine theory with practical activities. Central to this is the involvement of local partner business organisations.
Our students achieve excellent results in academic and vocational subjects. Furthermore, since opening all students leaving the Academy have progressed into further education, training or employment.
