Local Stories with a Big Reach – The Launch of Big Centre TV
Speaker: Chris Perry
With the imminent launch of Big Centre TV on the 28th February, local broadcasters Kaleidoscope TV are putting the finishing touches to their schedules, and look more than ready to provide the midlands with a whole new television experience – a channel dedicated to purely local matters and midlands based programming. Chris Perry, along with Mike Prince, has been the driving force behind making a Midlands TV channel a reality, and their ambition for Big Centre TV is to put the region - and its talent - back on the broadcast map in the UK. Big Centre TV is bringing together experts from across the industry, with expertise ranging from production to presenting, as well as a having a commitment to producing the next generation of talent. With only days to go until the big day, there’s a story to tell - about all the hard work, trials, tribulations and passion that it’s taken to get on air, and the plans for the future. Join us at our free event to hear Chris talk about the Kaleidoscope TV approach to broadcasting and its use of the latest digital technology.
