Description
The New Fylde Folk'n'Roots Festival is the successor of Fylde Folk Festival which has musically dominated the Fylde coast for 42 years until 2014.
It involves the whole community incorporating variety of pubs, hotels and other venues in the town and including Workshops, Morris Dancing, Children's Activities, Singarounds, Sessions and Heritage Walks.
It is a family friendly festival with live music from all genres particularly world music, traditional and contemporary folk, blues and roots music with a traditional folk edge.

FAQs
Is it a traditional festival like Fylde Folk Festival?
The Fylde Folk'n'Roots Festival has made every effort to maintain the core of the traditional Fylde Folk Festival, however we are a new festival. There are an additional five venues to ensure that the 'Roots' aspect of the festival has minimal impact on the overall tradition that went before.
Do we need to pre-book our camping requirements?
Yes all camping/campervan requirements need to be booked in advance. Camping is only for day or weekend ticket holders. Overnight campervan/caravans are not pernmitted to park roadside.
Do we need to order tickets for our children?
Yes, young people aged between 13 and 17 years must have a purchased Teen Ticket. Children 12 years and under must still have a ticket ordered however it is free. All children must be accompanied by adults with a ticket.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
It is advisable to bring ID for bar service. The festival is open to all ages however only free for children 12 years and younger so make sure you have purchased the correct festival tickets. It is at the individual venues discretion if they allow children in their venue after 9pm however there will be venues where all ages all are welcome.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You will need to have a scannable copy of your ticket to collect your wristbands. This will need to be printed or on a device where it is clear enough for staff to scan.
Where is the Festival Office?
The Festival Office will be in the foyer at the North Euston Hotel, The Esplanade, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 6BN.
Are there events throughout the week?
Different venues have additional events scheduled throughout the week. The Festival and Fleetwood Folk Club have events scheduled from Thursday through to the Monday Survivors Club.
