About this event

The IT Modernisation Programme at The University of Manchester has organised a choice of six sessions for Teams Collaborate, with 15 places available for staff and postgraduate research students on a 'first come first served' basis.

Colleagues are asked when booking from the suite of Microsoft 365 training sessions available to limit their choices to a maximum of two sessions each - to allow as many as possible to take part.

Please note that if your preferred session is booked up, register an interest by sending an email to: IT.modernisation@manchester.ac.uk.

‘Teams Collaborate’

During the ninety minute session, you will learn how to:

  • run inclusive online meetings,
  • share content securely with individuals and groups,
  • co-author documents efficiently,
  • build effective collaborative workspaces.

Ameet Lakhani and Michael Egan, both Hable Learning Consultants, will deliver the sessions. You will be shown how Teams can support your collaborations by learning how to best utilise the files functionality, manage guests effectively and how to navigate MS365 apps successfully. There will be time after the session to ask questions and explore content with Ameet or Michael.

Session accessibility

Copies of the training presentations will be available one week in advance under 'Training resources' from the following Microsoft 365 training web page.

One of the ‘Teams Collaborate’ sessions will be recorded and shared on StaffNet.
