The launch of the BBC micro:bit has helped to promote a resurgence of interest in small board computing. The ability to turn the devices into fully functioning device controllers opens the door to wearable art, affordable robotics and mini-electronics pro

Computer science teacher. Master Teacher for the Gravesham area. Subject knowledge lecturer for University of Greenwich PGCE in CS. Former teaching and learning consultant with Kent County Council. Involved with the Open University, interviewer for the BCS Scholarship programme. SLE in CS. Holder of a Winston Churchill Fellowship for research into CS teaching. Member of PiXL CS Executive. Acts as local support for primaries in catchment area. Interested in all CS. Really interested in robotics, AI and decision making systems. Worked as a teacher in Medway and Kent since 1999.

All materials and resources used on this course will be made available to all delegates after the course.
