Theatre Translation Forum Seminar Series - Modernism
Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (GMT)
London, United Kingdom
The Theatre Translation Forum is a new initiative designed to create a meeting space for UCL academics and theatre practitioners to share common themes in their research, presenting and discussing issues relating to the theatrical presentation of translated performance.
This seminar considers theatre translation and modernism. It consists of three academic papers, by Enza De Francisci, Mairéad Hanrahan, and Gareth Wood, and will touch upon the work of Pirandello, Genet, and Lorca. It will also feature a talk by translator Kate Eaton.
