Thursday 27 June: Digital Economy Day

The creative digital sector is increasingly driving the new economic agenda. Digital Economy Day will see the best talent from the Welsh creative industries come together with their digital sector counterparts to explore new ideas and identify areas of digital convergence.

The day will highlight ways to finance digital projects and build capacity through new funding models, via a series of conference sessions and practical workshops. These include sessions on digital markets and platforms; digital convergence and technology; digital funding and investment; digital spaces and clusters; and a look at what digital means in different sectors.

Led by a number of partners including the BBC, S4C and Cardiff Council, Digital Economy Day will give delegates an insight into the latest trends in the creative and digital industries and the chance to network with their leading lights.

Digital Economy Day will see the best talent from the Welsh creative industries come together with their digital sector counterparts to explore new ideas and identify areas of digital convergence. Digital Economy Day will also see the launch of a major new funding initiative from the Arts Council of Wales and Nesta and an in-depth briefing on the new UK Producer Tax Credits from PACT.
