PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE TO PARK CAMPUS, CHELTENHAM
The profession of coaching has come a long way in the last thirty years with a rich range of models and techniques available to help individuals and organisations develop. Rather than a single perspective or school of thought coaches now have a wide range of paths they can follow or combine. The aim of this session is to share a sample of models and techniques that practitioners can use which then generates a debate about our current professional practice as coaches.
Four models and techniques will be sampled allowing participants to find out when they work best and how the coach can use them. This will then lead into a facilitated discussion around current professional practices.
There will be references for models, examples of techniques and some worksheets for when to use various tools and techniques. It is expected that those attending will also gain a better sense of who uses what models and techniques in their work and so encourage sharing professional practice.
