CANCELLED: Trinity Weekend Away

A number of factors have led us to the sad but prayerful decision to cancel this year’s Weekend Away.

Most prominently, Wokefield Park has suffered a huge fire in which a good proportion of the accommodation for families and also the rooms with disabled access have been destroyed; some of the leisure and other facilities are also affected which would diminish the quality of what’s on offer to us. At a time when we are seeking to enjoy a renewed togetherness as a church family, it would be very unfortunate to have to reduce our plans, and the available capacity, in this way.

In addition, Kenny Borthwick, our invited speaker, has had to withdraw from the weekend on grounds of ill health. (Please do continue to pray for Kenny).

All deposits and gifts towards the weekend will be fully refunded. Cheques will be sent to home addresses. We do apologise for any inconvenience that this cancellation causes to anyone.
