Alumni and guests are invited to this years UCL Chemistry Lab Dinner which will be held on Friday 22nd November, 2013.
Before the dinner there will be a lecture at 5pm in the Chemistry Lecture Theatre, which promises to be an excellent start to the evening.
The lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in the Nyholm Room which will provide a wonderful opportunity for you to network with fellow UCL alumni, current students and staff.
The formal dinner itself will consist of a delicious three-course meal and accompanying drinks which will be held in the Wilkins Jeremy Bentham Room at 7.15pm.
Thomas Graham Lecturer:
Yoshiyuki Kikuchi from the Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Kanagawa, Japan. Title: Joji Sakurai and the Development of Anglo-Japanese Relations in Chemistry, 1863-1939.
Lab Dinner Speaker:
Robert Parker, Chief Executive, Royal Society of Chemistry.
The full cost of the evening is £45.
For current postgraduate students, a limited number of tickets will be charged at £35.
All Chemistry Alumni and guests welcome

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
We do not require ID and the event has no age limit.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is limited parking in the area so we advise people to take public transport. There are several train and tube stations close by which are only a few minutes walk. The department and has disabled access.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, this will make it easier for you to gain access to the department and for us to register you.
What is the dress code?
This is a formal event, so smart attire is required.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable.
