Event Details

The UCL JDI Centre for the Forensic Sciences is jointly hosting an event with the Forensic Science Special Interest Group. This event will bring together forensic science stakeholders, practitioners, service managers, trainers, industry providers and academics to discuss how to improve partnership working.

Welcome and Introduction: Dr Ruth Morgan, Director of The Centre for the Forensic Sciences

Speakers:

Professor David Balding:  ‘Evaluation of low template DNA; validation and research.’ (UCL Genetics Institute)

Dr Lewis Griffin:‘Recognition of handwriting authorship.’ (UCL Computer Science)

Dr Gill Tully: ‘with increased pressure on pricing for services, where and how can industry form partnerships?’ (Principle Forensic Services)

Dr Ali Anjomshoaa: Forensic Science Special Interest Group.

‘The way forward’, Discussion chaired by David Coleman, (Former Chief Constable of Derbyshire Constabulary)
