The useless workshop will guide you through the process of creating your very own useless machine from simple parts. The useless machine has a switch that, when turned on, will cause a little hand to pop out of the box and turn the device off again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzDyObuscbk
The kit will create a 'useless' block that holds the basic on/off functionality of the machine. This mounts the toggle switches, servo and limit switches in the correct place. This block can then be put in the box provided or moved across to any other box in the future. The box provided will be similar to the one pictured.
The workshop will include assembly of all the wooden parts and some basic soldering, like most Nottinghack workshops it is suitable for beginners. The workshop is expected to last 90 mins but mostly depends on how long it takes the glue to dry.
The workshop is open to members and non members alike.
