Our personal pattern of prayer can be very private; so what should we do if we feel stuck, need to grow or develop a more robust practise of spiritual discipline? Retreats and meeting with a Spiritual Director can be a way forward, and would be expected of any candidate for ministry. However where do you start?
Revd Jo Gallant, the Executive Director of Pelagos Spirituality and Retreat Centre in Prestwood will be speaking about some of the things that might be helpful when planning a retreat or finding a spiritual Director.
This is the second of 6 sessions for anyone exploring their sense of call to ministry in the Church of England. Each session is stand alone, so come to just one, or come to them all. You will need to register for each session separately.
The sessions are designed for people very early in the process of discerning their sense of call. You do not need to have met with a Vocations Adviser or to have any real sense of where this process might take you.
The sessions are facilitated by Revd Caroline Windley Area Director of Ordinands and Adviser in Vocational Devlopment in the Buckingham Archdeaconry and Revd Dave Lawton; Vicar at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Aylesbury and Vocations' Adviser in the Aylesbury Deanery
