Workshop Overview
This workshop is the second in a series (visit also Workshop 2012 page) that aim to explore latest advances and remaining challenges in the integration of clinical data and MRI image analysis, classification and visualization in the context of the Virtual Physiological Human concept. These are enabling the development of a multi-scale, personalized GI tract model-based diagnostic tool deployable on a cloud computing platform.

The VIGOR++ Workshops serve as a forum for a diverse and rich mix of innovators - both technologists and clinicians. Attendees have a wide range of backgrounds representing all parts of the supply chain including: researchers in universities and hospitals; diagnostics and device companies; public health authorities; private healthcare providers; market analysts and patient groups. The VIGOR++ Workshops are a place to exchange knowledge, share experiences, debate current issues, and meet colleagues and friends active in the field.

Reasons to Attend
Benefit from a programme featuring leading experts covering best practices, efficient algorithms, insights and take-home messages that will help you improve your research and patient outcomes. The VIGOR++ Workshops offer opportunities to learn about the:
a. latest screening protocols used for the diagnosis bowel diseases from medical professionals
b. newest algorithms designed to process efficiently and accurately multi-scale data
c. paradigm shift in GI modelling in the context of Virtual Physiological Human and prepare your strategy
d. innovative ICT systems handling medical data in real-time by attending the planned demonstrations
e. emerging portals that empower patients towards self-care
The programme has no parallel sessions – you will get access to all the key presentations but there are several breaks where you will get the best opportunities to make contacts and network.
