VOLUNTEERING ADVICE SURGERY
Chesham Cricket Club
7 August 2014
Free Volunteering Advice Surgeries are being offered by Community Impact Bucks to voluntary and community groups in Buckinghamshire at venues in all districts of the County.
A 45 minute, one on one session can be reserved with the sustainability team to discuss volunteering requirements for your group.
This could be about: volunteering policies, volunteer recruitment and retention, managing volunteers, induction and training, volunteers with expert skills, registering to XchangeBucks or legal issues involved working with volunteers.
We can offer an unbiased initial assessment and can signpost you to other sources of expertise.
N.B. With only 6 appointment slots per surgery, demand for tickets will be high and sell quickly. We do expect people to honour their appointments, or to give us adequate notice should a group be unable to attend. We operate a reserve list and can usually offer cancelled appointments to someone else with advance notice.
To register for an appointment the following 2 steps must be followed:
1. Select a time slot and register your name & organisation details
2. Once your time slot is confirmed, Click HERE to provide details about your Volunteering requirements. Doing this will give the adviser time to prepare information to facilitate your request(s), and allow you to gain the most from your meeting.
Any questions about this event please contact 01844 348820 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Upon arrival, please take a seat in the hall and we will call you at your allotted appointment time.
In case of problems on the day please call:

When & Where
Community Impact Bucks
Community Impact Bucks is the Rural Community Council, Volunteer Centre and the Council for Voluntary Services for Buckinghamshire.
We were formed through the merger, in 2010, of a number of pre-existing organisations (Buckinghamshire Community Action, Vale Volunteers, Voluntary Action Chiltern and South Bucks and the Priory Centre) but we can trace our roots back over 35 years.
We provide services throughout Buckinghamshire including rural Milton Keynes. We are linked to three national bodies ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England), part of the Rural Community Action Network (RCAN) and accredited as a Volunteer Centre by Volunteering England (now part of National Council of Voluntary Organisations, NCVO).
We are a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, governed by a board of trustees. The charity's objects are are specifically restricted to promoting any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in the county of Buckinghamshire and its adjacent areas and in particular the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness.
