Wakefield Jelly is a free informal co-working event for freelancers, homeworkers and small business owners. Come along and escape your usual desk space, try a different outlook from a refreshing location in Wakefield's only Social Enterprise Cafe based in Wakefield One.
The event runs on the 4th Wednesday of each month and is split into a morning session and an afternoon session.
We ask that places are booked in advance so we know how many people to expect. Should you need to cancel then please let us know as soon as possible so that any free places can be reallocated.
- The morning session runs from 9am - 1pm
- The afternoon session runs from 1pm - 5pm
You don't have to stay for the whole session, come and go whenever you like.
Co-working is not the same as networking. The aim is to work and chat in an informal environment. This could possibly lead to collaborations with other attendees but this is not compulsory. Please do not try a hard sell approach to get your product or service noticed.
The session, wifi and power sockets are all freely available. We do ask that you show your appreciation for the host venue by purchasing drinks and/or light refreshments whilst on site.
Wakefield Jelly is run by volunteers and receives no funding. If you have any questions please ask. If we don't know the answers then we'll find someone who does.
Create Cafe is located within easy walking distance of Westgate railway station and Wakefield bus station. Multi storey car parking is available at the side of the railway station.
