What is it?
UCL Advances' Business Support and the Enterprise Europe Team present an afternoon seminar about website visitors: finding out who they are and what they really want. In other words, learning what persuades people to sign up, subscribe, buy or book on your website or app.
As a startup, you know how important it is to understand your target customers. If you can’t persuade them to sign up, subscribe or buy your business fails.
But getting the insights can be tough. Research like interviews, surveys and user testing takes time and money – two things you’re usually short of. And they require know-how; asking the wrong questions will misguide you and cause mistakes.
What you’ll get out of it
By the end of the seminar you’ll know more about website visitors and what they want. You’ll have insights to help make informed changes to your site, optimising it for sign ups, subscribes and purchases. You’ll feel more confident about what you’re doing.
When & Where
UCL Advances, UCL's centre for entrepreneurship and business interaction, helps anyone who wants to learn about, start or grow a business. It’s primary role is to promote a culture of entrepreneurship on campus and engagement with entrepreneurs and small businesses beyond UCL’s boundaries. It works to support start-ups and small businesses across London by helping them to access the technical and business expertise of UCL’s staff and students through a series of programmes to help support ambitious young companies.
