Event Details

In this week's panel we discuss:

  • How designers approach and manage conflict of interests between privacy rights and valuable data?
  • The balance between state protection from cyber terrorists and increase online surveillance of individuals.
  • As the branded lifestyle becomes even more pervasive in ever aspect of our lives, how can the individual re-skill to ensure they engage with technology without having to interact as intensively with big business?
  • The information economy is inherently disruptive: Can "freedom of speech" and "social stability" really co-exist online?
