A talk by Ester Stanford-Xosei

The BME Staff Network and Equality and Diversity Unit would like to invite you join us for tea, coffee and soft drinks at 5pm at Pembroke College. The talk will begin at 6pm.

Esther Stanford-Xosei is an internationally acclaimed reparationist, jurisconsult, dynamic community advocate and radio broadcaster. She has delivered cutting edge advocacy programmes that facilitate individuals, groups and communities to achieve better social justice outcomes. In furtherance of this goal, Esther is the founder and Director of Soul Law, a not-for-profit social enterprise which delivers law related education and training programmes and services.

Esther is recognised for making a significant and tangible contribution to the Global Pan-African Reparations Movement. She serves as the Co-Vice Chair of the Pan-African Reparations Coalition in Europe (PARCOE). On behalf of PARCOE, Esther is a broadcaster on Britain’s first and only licensed African community radio station, Voice of Africa Radio. She is a notable example of the role and prominence that African women with Caribbean heritage continue to play in global justice movements.
