Event Details

Periodontology, as the rest of dental disciplines, is continually evolving and gaining importance in the overall management of complex dental cases. Understanding the core principles of this subject and to know how it can help in achieving a successful outcome is invaluable not only for the clinician but also for our patients. One of the key aspects of modern dentistry is the development and provision of “evidence-based dentistry” in order to get the most of our treatment as well as delivering predictable clinical outcomes.

Throughout this lecture we will aim to reflect on how periodontology and other clinical specialties can complement and help clinicians to achieve their goals for their patients, how these can assist to develop an “evidence-based approach” to our treatment planning, and an overview of the different treatment modalities that modern periodontology has to offer.

This evening includes verifiable CPD and a buffet style dinner.
