Nursing and midwifery mentor update workshops, School of Health, University of Northampton. Venue: Northampton General Hospital.

These workshops are intended for mentors who are supporting nursing and midwifery students on University of Northampton programmes.

Annual update workshops are a mandatory NMC requirement for all experienced mentors who work with students. The content of the sessions will reflect both the current national requirements and local/organisational issues. Through discussion and group work mentors will be able to focus on the importance of standardising their own practice with that of others.

The workshops are available to everyone even though individual venues may attract subject speciality.
