Trainer Profile: Nikki Machin

NIkki has 20 years experience in the leisure industry.

Having obtained an honours degree in Sports Science, Nikki started life in the leisure industry as a lifeguard. She quickly moved her way up to a Marketing & Sales Manager for Circa Leisure, where she found passion for sales. After a brief spell with a broken back, she then became a Club Manager for Club Motivation, Harlow and ensured the most successful presale campaign at that point in the history of Club Motivation. This resulted in her becoming a dual site manager after 6 months. In 2000 she successfully steered Club Motivation, Harlow to win Club of the Year at the Flame Awards.

Nikki then secured a position with LA Fitness as a Regional Sales Manager, then an Assistant Regional Manager before working with Rachel Browes as a consultant with Actif Sales Ltd providing sales management and training support to organisations. Nikki then helped develop a 3 day sales training course which was accredited by the YMCA to ensure staff could hit the ground running.

Nikki has a proven track record in training, management and supporting both club managers and sales staff. She has worked on the front line and ensures her training is delivered with passion and enthusiasm whilst being practical and informative.
