The series of lectures take place on three consecuctive fridays starting on the 2 of March 2012 at 7pm -9pm
the lectures are
1. Introduction, the beekeepers year
2. Chosing a hive, frame building
3. Overview of common problems and how to deal with them.
4. Apairy Visit on Saturday 24th March. 2pm.
The course fee covers all three lectures and a visit to the apiary (where we keep the bee hives) to meet the bees. All proctive clothing and equipment will be suplied but please bring some wellington boots to the saturday session.
After attending the series of lectures you can also enroll to the practical sessions which will take place each Saturday at 2pm through the spring and summer at a cost of £15.
The lectures will take place in the 6th form block of West Somerset Comunity College in Minehead.
