Aim
The hot works course is designed to give delegates an understanding of basic fire safety in the workplace including relevant safe systems of work, method statements and permit to work procedures.
Objectives
On successful completion of this course, delegates will be able to set up a safe system of work including method statement and work in accordance with a hot works permit. The delegates will also understand the fire safety requirements associated with hot works and have a practical understanding of fire prevention and safe use of fire extinguishers and fire blanket in the workplace.

This is an attendance course which requires no assessment process at present. This course can be achievement measured with a final written question paper if required. A certificate of attendance is issued
