Event Details

The Intellect Regent Conference, now in its 17th year, is the one-day event that excels in identifying the key trends that will define the industry in the future.

-----

So come and find out what the leading industry executives, market analysts, investors and economists think about the prospects for 2012 and beyond as technology enters a new and exciting era.

What's being talked about?

Fundamental changes are happening in every sector of technology. The old on-premise world is moving to the Cloud. The desktop is being replaced by myriad devices. Bandwidth is exploding and becoming ever more mobile. Social networking has gone mainstream. Consumer technologies are invading the workplace.

At the same time, budgets are being cut as users – in both the public and private sectors – demand more for less. Periods of rapid change in the way both enterprises and consumers use technology create not only huge threats for those wedded to old models, but also huge opportunities for new ventures and existing businesses capable of capitalizing on the new trends.

Momentum - The Northern Ireland ICT Federation

Momentum is the trade association for the ICT industry in Northern Ireland and draws its membership from the majority of ICT businesses here. It was established to represent those with a common interest in promoting and developing the industry both locally and internationally.

Northern Ireland has the best record of any UK region in creating jobs and reducing unemployment. The majority of new jobs have been in knowledge industries particularly ICT including software development, software testing and funds administration.

  • Momentum member companies generate an estimated £344 million for the Northern Ireland economy.
  • Momentum NI represents more than 250 businesses employing 15,000 people. This is the Information Age and our members are leaders in the Information Communications and Technology Industry (ICT).
  • The Northern Ireland Executive has indicated that growth of the ICT industry is a top priority. There is a clear potential for expansion within Northern Ireland and opportunities for international development.
  • ICT will play an increasingly important role in education and learning, health, communities and business and Momentum will be there to support the interests of our members and the industry in general.
