Delegates will gain a good understanding of the key issues relating to CE marking from the principles CE marking represents to the actual requirements that need to be satisfied. Alastair McLaughlin, Product Safety Specialist, has over 17 years experience in Consumer Product Testing and Compliance Management, working for suppliers to WH Smiths and Woolworths, and for Radica Games, Mattel and TÜV SÜD Product Service.

Anyone involved in the design, development, production and selling of products that are placed on the European market. This includes, design engineers, project managers, engineering managers, approvals engineers, quality managers, sales managers. In particular those who sign the Declaration of Conformity. The material is intended to inform those that do not already understand CE marking requirements and to clarify and reinforce the understanding of those already familiar with the concepts.
