This is aimed at all Library staff
Overview:
This session is intended to be a light-hearted but informative look at a number of the latest portable devices used by our staff and students. The purpose of the session is to provide colleagues with a forum to share and compare their experiences of using devices such as tablet computers, smart phones, blackberries, e-readers, netbooks etc.
If you already use one of these types of device it may be useful to see what other sorts of things are available. If you are not using such a device then it should be useful to see what sorts of technologies our staff and students are using aside from College PCs. We will discuss the sorts of applications and services we could develop to make best use of these new technologies.
Please come prepared to participate!
