Description

This event shows what the attendee experience is like for an event where the Event Type on the Manage page is set to "Registration Event".

The ability to change the event type from "Ticketed" to "Registration" works best for endurance events, classes/seminars, free events, and other events where the "ticketing" lingo/language may not resinate with prospective attendees/registrants/participants.

Feature(s) used:

Event type and language settings

Disable PDF tickets (Most registration type events do not require tickets to be presented to enter/access/participate. Disabling this in the Order Confirmation section of your event's Manage page is encouraged if you also do not require tickets for your event.)

Note: This is an example event, but feel free to register to see how the change in event type impacts the terminology used throughout the registration process.

At Eventbrite, we believe that gathering with others is the best way for people to learn, grow, get inspired, feel connected, get healthy, give back, and celebrate. So we're building technology that facilitates those gatherings, by helping people find and attend events that feed their interests, while connecting them with others who share their passions.
