Arkham Gaming Centre is proud to announce that on Saturday 14th April 2012 it will host Brothers in Battle, a Warhammer 40,000 doubles tournament, run in conjunction with Trevor Houston. This is a one day event with teams of 2 players coming together to create a 1500 point army.

Tickets cost £10 per person and include;

1. Tournament entry

2. Unlimited tea, coffee & bottled water

3. Occasional snacks

The ticket does not include lunch. Orders for lunch will be taken on morning of the event and brought to the centre. Players can bring their own lunch and/or snacks if preferred. Soft drinks and snacks are also available to purchase at the centre.

Tickets for our tournaments sell out quickly, so don't miss out!

Alcohol is permitted, but we ask that players refrain from falling over during play.

The centre opens at 9am on Saturday 14th April 2012, with the first game starting at 10am. The tournament will close with a prize-giving ceremony at 6pm.

There will be spot prizes given out, as well as the following fixed prizes;

1st place: Glass trophy & £25 gift voucher for each team member (*one trophy, two gift vouchers)

2nd place: £20 gift voucher for each team member

3rd place: £15 gift voucher for each team member

Best painted army: £10 gift voucher for each team member

Player's choice award for best sportsmen: £10 gift voucher for each team member

Refund policy: We will refund tickets in full for those who cannot attend, but only until four weeks before the event.

Here is a feedback comment from someone who attended one of our Assault on Arkham two day tournaments;

"Have to say, simply the best tournament I have been to.  Ever.

The terrain was great (as always), the organisation seemed to go smoothly with games flowing well and the pre-tournament package was well put together (special mention for the Primary/Secondary objective which was a stroke of genius for keeping the games exciting and fresh).

Of course, the aspect which really put it over the edge were the staff at Arkham.  The little things like organising lunch order forms ahead of time and picking them up, the rounds of snacks and water to keep people topped up, the easy going nature of those behind the till all contributed to a positive atmosphere the likes of which I haven't seen anywhere else in the UK or US.

Even the material things like the discount and the "everybody wins" raffle at the end really show the dedication to having people go away happy over making a profit.

Given the chance, I would be back again in a heartbeat."
