Event Details

A double-bill lunchtime lecture exploring two fascinating topics. Dr Fiona Caple explores Food myths: separating fact from fiction. Are bread and potatoes fattening? Is red wine good for you? How do you get your ‘five a day’? Dr. Caple sorts out the facts from the fiction and explains the science behind the recommendations. Richard Hyde will then present What does the product tell me? Looking at food labels, and what they should tell you about your food. What do you have to be told, and how does this impact on food packaging?
