Erewash Partnership Event- Manufacturing Showcase!
Wednesday 25th July 2012
The event is part of our Manufacturing & Engineering Erewash initiative and aims to celebrate and promote local manufacturing and engineering companies, draw attention to career opportunities and facilitate contact amongst local businesses generally.
The event is open to:
- · manufacturing and engineering businesses
- · other businesses of all types that trade in or with the area
and
- · local people considering manufacturing / engineering careers
- · parents of young people considering manufacturing / engineering careers
- · teachers from local schools
- · people interested in knowing more about local businesses
Manufacturing & Engineering Erewash.
The primary aim is to enable manufacturing & engineering companies, within the Borough of Erewash, to work together and:
- · Establish a "Single Voice for Manufacturing" within the Borough,
- · Extol the virtues of Erewash as a prime location manufacturing business,
- · Share problems and work together,
- · Identify opportunities for developing best practice,
- · Encourage & facilitate inter-trading between Members,
- · Encourage involvement with Schools, the College and local Universities, and other training organisations,
- · Identify skill shortages within businesses,
- · Promote Manufacturing & Engineering as worthwhile careers.
