It is indeed a great pleasure to invite you to come to York St John University’s Diversity and Equality Awareness Day.

This event aims to enhance awareness and appreciation of topical issues around diversity and equality. It will enable individuals to discuss and evaluate the challenges facing our society in the new millennium. It will also give the opportunity to individuals to discuss the challenges organisations face in a highly diverse and cross-cultural society.

The University organises this day by running a number of workshops across the day and holding an 'Open Space Debate' to conclude the day's event.Delegates will have the chance to challenge, discuss and debate the key issues and gain relevant insight into the importance of diversity and equality in the workplace.

The event is voluntary organised and coordinated by a group of multi-cultural undergraduate business management students.

If you are interested in taking part to our Diversity and Equality Awareness Day, please register your interest here. For more information about the event, please contact Dr Stefanos Nachmias or Lukas Njenga by email: s.nachmias@yorksj.ac.uk or l.njenga@yorksj.ac.uk.

 Best Wishes

York St John Business School - Business School Students

YSJ Business School students invite you to join a day dedicated to the interactive exploration of diversity in the many forms that affect us all in the 21st century. This is a student led activity, fully supported by York St John Business School and the University Chaplaincy. This awareness day aims to engage and encourage individuals to provoke debate and discussions around key topical issues and examine how individuals’ idiosyncratic prejudices and social construction views would affect individual behaviour and perception.
