Andrew Diprose, art director of Wired UK and co-creator of The Ride Journal, speaks about his career in magazine publishing.
From the early days of breaking into the design world, through working on some of Britain's biggest commercial titles, to starting his own independent magazine with his brother, he shares his thoughts on the pressures, compromises and opportunities he has encountered, and how he has made sure his work stands out along the way.
A Designer's Story is the first in a series of educational events based around publishing, which will be held at 71a, the new events space from The Church of London. Doors open at 6.30pm and the presentation starts at 7pm, followed by a question and answer session led by Stack founder Steven Watson.
