Event Details

The Marine Conservation Society is hoping to find a group of people to champion the cause of the sea and coastal environment over the next few years.  This is a National Project but we are particularly interested in finding people to look after the Exmoor Coast from Minehead, under North Hill, Porlock, Headons mouth and out to Comb Martin.  The exact duties would some what depend on the interests and skills of the individuals who volunteer.  It could be maintaining a sightings board (birds, dolphins, seals?) in the Lynton visitor centre it could be leading rock pool walks, organising beach cleans or any else that helps to make people aware and appreciative of the exmoor coast.

We’ll be having an initial information meeting in the Lynmouth area on July 3rd (We’ll set the venue when we know how much interest we have).  If you can’t come on the 3rd book on to register you interest for the project and we’ll make sure you involved at a later date.
