Event Details

Ted Marmor, Professor Emeritus of Politics, Public Policy and Law from Yale University, has concentrated his scholarship on the modern welfare state. His best known books include The Politics of Medicare (1970 and 2000), America's Misunderstood Welfare State (1990), and, in 2012, Politics, Health and Health Care, with Rudolf Klein.  He is a Fellow of the US Institute of Medicine and a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy.  He is US national singles and doubles squash champion for those 70 and older.
