DESTITUTION AND THE ASYLUM SYSTEM, SCOTLAND

We are delighted to invite you to attend a workshop organised by the Scottish Poverty Information Unit to report the findings from research commissioned jointly by:

  • Refugee Survival Trust
  • British Red Cross
  • Scottish Refugee Council

At the workshop you will:

  • Hear about the reasons for destitution amongst asylum seekers and refugees
  • Hear the results of the research on destitution and asylum in Scotland
  • Find out more about the Still Human, Still Here Campaign
  • Contribute to developing recommendations for policy and practice arising from the research
  • Input your ideas for the future direction of campaigning on destitution

A light lunch will be provided.
