This Media Skills Programme has been devised to help your Press Office use their own internal resources more effectively.
Many experienced journalists and communications professionals would be daunted by the prospect of Media Training their Senior Management Team.
Our aim is to develop, enhance and broaden the skills of PR and Communications Professionals. This will reduce the long term costs of employing external consultants.
We will take you through the whole process of Media Training from watching an expert at work through to practical exercises in a safe environment.
Media Training is a specialist skill, which can be taught through our supportive two day programme. We use the learning philosophy of Watch – Learn – Do, where a difficult skill is learnt through expert example, active questioning/learning and practical exercises.
We don’t expect anyone to “cut their trainers teeth” on the Chief Executive or Senior Managers, we send in our expert trainers to take on your toughest team, while you watch their interview and feedback techniques.
On day two we take you through the whole process of Media Training covering everything from devising scenarios, key message preparation through to practical exercises in a safe environment.
