This facilitated 2 day programme will take provider organisations through the Progress for Providers self evaluation tool. This simple self assessment tool has been developed by providers and commissioners to help providers think about their progress in responding to the personalisation and self-directed support agendaand develop their plans to change and respond. It covers 8 key areas including Leadership and Strategy, Creating a person centred culture, Community Focus, Support Planning and review, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and reviewing and improving our service.
By the end of the 2 days, those who have attended will have:
- A better understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing provider organisations in adapting and responding to personalisation and self directed support
- a clear idea of what are the areas that need work in their own organisation to be able to embrace the challenges and opportunities.
- a clear action plan for the first steps in addressing these issues.
The 2 day course will be facilitated by Louise Close of Helen Sanderson Associates. It will be important that people who attend this course are able to influence or implement change within their organisation and would be particularly useful for operational or strategic managers, Directors, Chief Executives and management Committee members. It is also most useful and effective if more than one person from the organisation attends
