Event Details

Poetry: the development of imaginative expression through beautifully constructed words has been an art form for an unfathomable length of time.

Join Dr Kion Ahadi, academic researcher, poet and writer and Troy Kamal, accountant, poet and musician (lead rapper of Not the Masons) to share in an evening of poetry and music, which will hopefully lighten and soothe the soul.

The Festival of Spirituality and Peace

Our aim is to encourage community by exploring diversity.  We don't all have to agree but it doesn't need to be a problem.  FoSP provides a platform for people to explore their own spirituality by engaging with other people's, to promote peace.

FoSP is one of Edinburgh's most exciting and diverse Festivals. It features 300 activities in 200 events across 15 venues each year in August. With top-quality speakers, conversations, performances, film, food, exhibitions, family activities, workshops, art, culture and more the festival is now looking forward to its twelfth year.
