An exciting national concert tour with Celebrity Artist Jan Vogler, featuring music by Debussy, Bach and Shostakovich, launch concerts to announce the 2012 Walled City Music Festival in Derry, Belfast and Dublin. World-renowned cellist Jan Vogler, an IMG Artist, has performed as soloist with the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh, Montreal and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestras, Vienna Symphony and many more. As a chamber musician, he performed regularly with pianists Hélène Grimaud, Bruno Canino, Louis Lortie, and violinist Mira Wang.
Recent concerts have included concertos with the Mariinsky Orchestra and Valery Gergiev, Berlin Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic and Lorin Maazel, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
Jan currently records exclusively for SONY Classical.
