Norfolk and Suffolk STEM workshops
Three free summer workshops in Norfolk and Suffolk for those involved in STEM enrichment in schools looking for new activity ideas. They are run by teachers, for teachers and are all suitable for KS3 and 4 club activities.
Recycling aluminium - CANCELLED SORRY
Join David Kirkham at Newmarket College with an introduction to methods to recycle foil and cans into usable materials. A range of exciting practical techniques and project ideas that could be used for Key Stage 2-4 enrichment will be explored. Paul Bexfield from Lynn Grove School in Great Yarmouth demonstrates easy ways to develop electronics activities for your club with affordable kits. Tues 17th July at 4.30 - 6.30pm
Another workshop from David Kirkham introductiing different wood technology processes and practices that were used in the Middle Ages. Participants will undertake a number of short practical activities, which will allow them to construct simple wooden machines, using nothing but wood.
