In a world where super sharp and instant perfection is seemingly handed down by ever-escalating pixel count and ISO numbers it was no surprise there was a reaction against this. Photographers of all types, levels of experience and interests rebounded, grabbed film cameras and searched out ebay bargain bins of expired film.

The 'lomo' revolution - in all it's forms; from disposable cameras, to those with plastic lenses and the 'toy' cameras from Holga has reached a bit of a fever pitch - enhanced by mobile phone apps 'simulating' the look you get from these.

Kevin Meredith, author of "Hot Shots', joins us from Brighton where he'll share some of his insights, experiences and imagery and just how we can go about sex-ing up our photography!
