A night of music and film brought to you by plucky Brits, glamorous Yanks and other worldly surrealism.

David Lynch presents Chrysta Bell

Music has always been central to Lynch’s creative output, from co-writing the soundtrack to Eraserhead while still a film student, to his critically acclaimed 2010 solo album ‘Crazy Clown Time’.

The impossibly glamorous chanteuse, Chrysta Bell is Lynch’s latest muse. He wrote and produced her debut album ‘This Train’. The music has been described as “at times dreamy and torrid, smoky and tortured” but always steeped in that narcotic atmosphere that only Lynch can conjure.

Lynch himself won’t be joining us but this is a very rare chance to catch one of Bell’s unique performances with her own band.  Prepare to be beguiled and mesmerised by a true 21st century siren.

Public Service Broadcasting

Public Service Broadcasting are a London-based duo whose main ingredients are:

1) J. Willgoose, Esq. on guitars, banjos, other stringed instruments, samplings, electronic things; 2) Wrigglesworth on drums, pianos and other electronic things.

Taking samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material, they teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future. Their live gigs (or ‘public transmissions’) combine music and film in one highly original performance.
