31 international artists who cut, sculpt and manipulate paper, transform this humble material into fantastical works of art for our stunning new exhibition.
Artist Talk at Gallery of Costume
Susan Stockwell is exhibiting sculptural dresses fashioned out of maps in the Gallery of Costume and Manchester Art Gallery. Join Susan for a talk at the Gallery of Costume, Platt Hall on Thursday 6th December.
She will discuss her remarkable work, that takes many forms from small elaborate studies to large scale installations, sculture, drawings and collage. The materials used are the everyday, domestic and industrial disposable products that pervade our lives, which are manipulated and transformed into works of art.
Born in Manchester, Susan now lives and works in London.
