6:45 Three short films depicting pre and post-war Blackpool, featuring aspects of the Lancashire coast, holidaying and attractions in Blackpool and, of course, the Illuminations themselves:

- Blackpool: a nation's playground (1939)
- Holiday (1957)
- Northern Lights, including the famous Jayne Mansfield switch on (1959)

Come early and get a drink or snack from the Gallery Cafe, to enjoy during the film showing. And look round the Galleries after the film 

 Each event is free, but pre-registration is essential as places are strictly limited.  A limited number of places will also be available at 6pm on the day, on a first come first served basis.
