Event Details

Join the Thames Explorer Trust & the Thames Discovery Programme for an unusual archaeology & environment walk along the Thames and find out more about the environmental and archaeological heritage of the River.

We will meet at the entrance to City Hall at 11am, and walk across Tower Bridge to the foreshore at Custom House, where you will have an opportunity to look at the archaeology and discover some Thames treasures for yourselves... We will then follow the river wall past Billingsgate Market, stopping to see a chunk of the Roman quay if we can, and return to the Thames Festival via London Bridge.

PLEASE NOTE:

Tickets are £7 for adults and £4 for children/concessions.  Please print your ticket and pay on the day.  Please wear stout footwear or wellies, and come prepared to get a little muddy!  In case of heavy rain, this walk may be cancelled.

Please email enquiries@thamesdiscovery.org if you have any questions.
