Accidental Festival 2013

Now in its eighth year, The Accidental Festival is produced with passion by second-year students on the BA (Hons) Theatre Practice: Performance Arts course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Returning to the Roundhouse for its third consecutive year from the 9th - 12th May 2013, the Accidental Festival is an annual opportunity for artists to share work, take risks, and present fresh ideas to a diverse audience.

The Accidental Festival is shaped by those who apply, and sought applications from a broad spectrum of artistic disciplines in order to present a varied four-day programme of original and current work. Past festivals have presented new writing, live art, film, spoken word, static art and photography, fashion, puppetry, devised work, and all kinds of performance.

The Festival weekend will offer an affordable yet energetic, stimulating and social atmosphere with emphasis placed on the arts as a shared experience. It will promote the discovery of new art forms and unique experiences, aiming to inspire future students, audiences and artists through the formation of relationships, and an emphasis on learning and discovery.
