Antonia Furlong

Antonia is a mum raising money for Rafiki Mwema in Nakuru, Kenya. Part of the journey to Africa for her is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness for the incredible work that is done for such vulnerable and young children at Rafiki Mwema. Rafiki Mwema means loyal friend and is a safe house for children as young as 2 who have been brought in off the streets having suffered sexual and emotional traumas you could only imagine.

Antonia is taking this trip as part of her healing journey through post natal depression. She hopes that by giving and helping others, other mums, who also have been in the same darkness that Antonia found herself in, can find their path out and turn their lives around.
