ARCC, CIBSE Resilient Cities Group, IET

The Adaptation and Resilience in the Context of Change network (ARCC) is staffed and managed by UKCIP, and hosted by the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford. Funded by EPSRC, we focus on; building community cohesion to develop in-depth understanding and synergies across the network, provision and integration of knowledge to help ensure policy and practice have the best available evidence, and enhanced accessibility and uptake of research outputs to meet the needs of a diverse stakeholder community in a timely manner.

CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) Resilient Cities Group provides leadership and knowledge on the adaptability, sustainability and resilience of cities. It brings together industry experts interested in developing means and methods for systems thinking for the adaptability of cities in the face of increasing impacts of climate change. 

The IET is one of the world’s largest engineering institutions with Over 167,000 members in 127 countries. It is also the most multidisciplinary – to reflect the increasingly diverse nature of engineering in the 21st century. The IET is working to engineer a better world by inspiring, informing and influencing our members, engineers and technicians, and all those who are touched by, or touch, the work of engineers.
