The Bernie Grant Arts Centre is a purpose built arts venue designed by award winning architect David Adjye and inspired by the now late Bernie Grant, MP.
Opened in 2007, the 300-seater / 600-standing auditorium is a platform for artists to develop and showcase to diverse audiences. The multi-purpose studios are kitted out for dance and are also used for rehearsals, classes, meetings and events. Our most recent addition doubles as a 36-seat cinema.
We host exhibitions, and our outdoor spaces are available for performance, relaxation and enjoyment, as too is our cafe and licenced bar serving delicious meals throughout the day and pre-show. We have free wi-fi throughout and are home to 20 small businesses many of whom operate in the creative sector. All our spaces are available for hire.
In 2015 we launched the BGAC Screening Lounge. Visit us to watch one of our amazing films.
Come, enjoy, and be inspired!
